Coral Cove: An islet in the South Viridian Sea, a pitstop on your way to grander destinations. The local barkeep entangles you in a mystery which has tormented him and his family for years. Though your stay will be short, you could shape this island’s future. Can you break the Curse of Coral Cove?

Designed for D&D Fifth Edition (with broader system compatibility to come), this five-session* adventure brings your group of 1st level players to 3rd level as you strive to discover the truth behind rumours of a dreaded beast and the tortured soul of Coral Cove.

Disembark into a single-family settlement of complex, realistic NPCs, then venture forth to face unique monsters, explore haunted bogs, climb a boiling mountain, discover a hidden dungeon and avoid unthinkable horrors as you seek the truth… and treasures.

As a sandbox adventure, you chart your own path, exploring and making discoveries in the order you choose.
Life or death decisions are thrust upon your group, requiring ingenuity, wit and strength, sometimes combat, other times logic—though some challenges may have no clear answers.

A family run project, The Curse of Coral Cove is crafted with care and a passion for storytelling and fun. All art is hand-drawn and text thoughtfully created without any use of artificial intelligence. We are self funded and wish to share our creation with the world.

Within the PDF, game masters will find a roughly 100 page, 45,000 word adventure and campaign laid out in an easy to follow way, including additional custom rules and notes from the author. These “GM Notes” will offer tips, alternate ideas, and tales from the writer’s table.

Also included: full colour maps of each location, dozens of high quality art pieces depicting locales, creatures and NPCs, tips for new players, custom rules, and an extensive appendix.

Once your table has ended their stay on Coral Cove, you will resume your journey to your true destination: Evermist Isle, in The Veil of Evermist: Book 1. The secrets uncovered on Coral Cove will aid you in your continuing adventure, as the two islands are linked in an unexpected way.

Future installments of The Veil of Evermist are already well underway, but their completion depends entirely on the success of this prologue: The Curse of Coral Cove.
